This site is a very good resource for English learners, provided by the BBC World Service.
Besides giving you a chance to listen to news in English, the site also features the Watch and Listen section with many activities that involve listening and watching. The Grammar & Vocabulary section helps you to strengthen your command of English grammar, vocabulary, phrasal verbs and pronunciation while the Business English section simulates the kind of language you will meet in the work place. Most activities in these sections have downloadable audio and scripts, which is useful if you want to check your understanding and replay them offline.
You can also join the message board, write about yourself and try games and quizzes for relaxation.
There is a special section for teachers of English with downloadable lesson plans, quizzes and radio programmes.
