This web-based journal is a true goldmine for teachers seeking help and advice on teaching English as a Second Language.

The primary contents of the site are articles - research papers, lessons - lesson plans and teaching techniques published in past issues from 1995 up to now. Besides common topics such as Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing and Business English, you can find other interesting sub-categories, among which are:

- Articles: Becoming a Better Teacher, Computer Assisted Language Learning, English for Specific Purposes, Language Acquisition, Learner Autonomy, Materials Development;

- Lessons: For the First Class, Cooperative Learning, Oral Presentation, Travel Survival;

- Techniques: Authentic Materials/Realia, Becoming a Better Teacher, Classroom Management, Public Speaking.

The next focus of the site is on activities teachers and students can do in the classroom. For teachers, there is an abundance of conversation questions, jokes and games that have been contributed from teachers around the world. Students, on the other hand, will enjoy the special section reserved for them that contains, among other things, grammar quizzes, vocabulary quizzes, crossword puzzles and ESL podcasts.
