English for All is an educational project that provides multimedia lessons to adult learners of English as a second language. It was set up by the Division of Adult Career Education of the Los Angeles Unified School District and uses California standards for High-Beginning ESL and the Skills Modules of the Latino Adult Education Skills Project.
Features:
• A core curriculum of 5 stories, each containing 4 episodes, centering around topics relevant to everyday life in America
• For each episode, a variety of lessons and activities focusing on grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and life skills, followed by a progress test
• Extensive use of multimedia content, with scripted streaming video and audio
• Printable versions of all episodes available for download as PDF files
• Online word translation tool
• Separate sections for students and teachers
