Electronic Literature and Language in South East Asia (ELLSA), which was initiated by John Morgan and Jeffrey Taschner to cater to the needs of teachers and students in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines, provides online and downloadable lesson plans for teaching and learning English through American literature.

• Uniform format for all lessons, each containing a biography of the author, a synopsis, pre-story exercises, in-story exercises, language exercises and follow-up exercises
