English Insight is a free English course that can be downloaded and works entirely offline from your computer. The brainchild of Don Sorsa, the course consists of 12 video-based lessons designed to help intermediate and advanced ESL students build their listening, critical thinking, and discussion skills through video clips that discuss political and socio-cultural issues.

• Simple installation: users need only download ready-made HTML and video files, which total about 140 MB, and unzip them into the same folder for the program to work
• Neat interface: each of the 12 video clips can be accessed with just a click of the mouse
• Various types of supporting materials (preview questions, comprehension questions, vocabulary lists, project suggestions)
